how do you do seperations for a poster like this? Is the blue just really opaque and printed over the split fountain, or is the blue knocked out of the black? Sorry if that doesn't make sense.
ps. this poster is amazing. never seen it before.
For those who are interested, I have 3 of these. If you're interested pm me. The only thing is they were posters I got from the local record shop so they have some show information written on them, not across the image but on the border. So if you like the image and aren't concerned with some sharpie then write me.
I love that Jay has made about 300 beautiful amazing posters and hes put ...23 up on the GP. A testament to how much work hes usuallly doing ....or Giant Frappacinos hes drinking.
beautiful...when I first saw this poster the show was coming up and I had to wait a week to get it from the record store...I have like 3 copies of this poster now. One of my favorite of Jay's.
This really does demand attention. Who the hell is Andrew Bird...I am gunna find out and at least pretend to like his music so I can justify getting this poster!
oh fuck, this one has presence beyond belief. it just demands attention. absolutely amazing work. the overall grandeur of it, but also the detailing of the cloud...and the haziness that increases towards the bottom of the poster = all brilliant. and oh man, that colour scheme makes me want to pee in my own mouth. just fantastic!
This is beautiful. The only problem is that the cloud looks like it was carved from styrofoam, and thinking about that makes me think of that horrible squeaky sound that styrofoam makes when you scrape two peices of it together.
