craigSend craig a message :   yup. the infoshop is pretty new, they only started having shows in october or november, it is kind of an anarchist collective/activist bookshop thing. it's the only place i've been to that had the john travolta scrapbook on the same shelf as the che guevara biography   2004-01-16 15:08:17
stomachacheSend stomachache a message :   this is a great idea!

craigSend craig a message :   thats an interesting idea. i'm printing these this weekend i think so i'll try all of these ideas and eventually end up going with whatever the promoter likes best, i'll repost the final design.   2004-01-16 09:05:28
bdixSend bdix a message :   Bottom text. Angle it like the headline, printed below and slightly right of the headline...and do it on the other side of the vellum.   2004-01-16 09:01:37
craigSend craig a message :   i'll try that, thanks. i was also thinking of using the text to form a border around the page. that way it won't distract too much.   2004-01-16 08:19:35
DenisMutterSend DenisMutter a message :   Craig - I'll make one - simplify that paragragh of text, use a typeface that compiments the headline & slide to upper left?   2004-01-16 08:16:00
craigSend craig a message :   yeah, tell me about it. I haven't started printing them yet, just a few test prints, maybe i still have time to correct the problem with the "after thought text" any suggestions?   2004-01-16 07:36:36
DenisMutterSend DenisMutter a message :   Wow - very cool process & very cool idea. You've got me right up theat bottom block of text.
But what an undertaking!
Double sided print on vellum, huh?

craigSend craig a message :   the low contrast comes from it being printed on vellum with the information and the pencil sketch on one side with the background image and oil painting on the other side. and i agree about the afterthought type...i tried a few things but none of them seemed to work...   2004-01-16 07:25:57
ROb WeychertSend ROb Weychert a message :   I like the composition and texture, but don't care for this particular low contrast palette, and the afterthought info type on the bottom kills it for me.   2004-01-16 06:55:20
