wow! thanks a lot guys. when I started working for graceland they wanted to keep the border for easy recognition. I always though it was a bad-ass border tyler, I really like your work. It was a bummer when they asked me to stop using it. I dont do as much work for graceland now but trying to pop out 25-35 posters a month (on top of my other poster design work) took a lot out of me and I feel that my posters started sucking. Now I can spend more time per poster, but I dont make as much money....waaa-waaaaaa
wow thanks art. yeah i don't know nat but did do some work for graceland back when i was a northwesterner. nat used the border i did for awhile the went on to bigger and better things. the nice thing about a place like graceland is that the sheer number of posters they need, you just start putting them out, and if you do one you don't like you have already moved onto the next poster. i liked maybe 1 out of every 5 i did for em. submitted only the ones i liked as well, so the shitty ones will hopefully dissappear and never again see the light of day.
alright back to work - tyler
his work is fully realized and absolutely gorgeous.
he owes a small debt to whats-is-face, though. (i'm getting old and his name escapes me, but he did a shitload of grat stuff for graceland, among others clubs, then moved to the east coast. just can't remember his name, but he's a regular on gp and also brilliant).
