Yes.. Terrific batch. I'm always amazed when i see another Chantry poster for the first time, especially relating to this time period. It all seems too simple and easy, but the printing, colors, layout and type just kick Cheret in the ass to keep him spinning, and he loves every turn.
We are so fortunate to have people like Art Chantry and Frank Kozik among us on this site. I for one am forever grateful, as this is today's punked up version of the "Maitre de Affiches" so popular with our circa 1900 poster collecting brethren. Respect to history, and those who broke new ground. Thanks Art...
yeah, that one looked pretty good.
i might be buying jamie a digital camera for xmas, so i'll probably be putting up a lot more crappy posters i've committed.
I saw a new one of yours this year. For Grafton, I think. A tour poster. Lots of puppets. Loved it. Shoulda swiped it when I had the chance, someone beat me to it.
like i said before, these are old art chantry's. the last one i did in this series was about 1997.
maybe new to you, but a damned old poster.
ya see, i have only posted a small fraction of my posters here on gigposters. just because it's new here has no correlation to when i actually did it.
