i was cranking these things out two or three at a time and then printing them two-up on a sheet, then trimming them out. that;s why some of them have similat color schemes, ebven though i was using every trick in my book to make them seem like different color schemes.
this one was printed up alongside the volcanos poster. the colors were process yellow, process meganta and black. others substituted process cyan instead of balck or cyan instead of magenta. 3 colors, two up, no camera work, cheap cheap cheap...
lotsa overlapping line art.
i love working within difficult restrictions. it's where i tend to come up with my best stuff.
these were all small (about 12x18, i think) offset ltho posters - no, not 'art prints". the idea was to do them cheap (estrus has always been a shoe-string operation) with maximum bang for the buck.
none of these things will be on the inital posting on the webstore, but maybe i'll offer them if it works out ok.
as for the lambretta, well, tim kerr sort of described the fixers as a mod/soul/revolutionary/black power sort of concept. difficult to pin down, but highly solid concept. go listen to the "is your club a secret weapon" cd and you'll figure it all out.
i've got samples of all of these. you can pm me and maybe we'll work a deal.
i'm right on the verge of setting up a webstore. it'll be up in about a week or two. the inital offering will be a small test run, but eventually tons of my stuff will be up for sale.
