Well, a poster like this is clearly not meant for a person like me to appreciate. So I don't.
The same as I don't expect the AA guys to like my posters. In fact I hope with every fibre of my being that they HATE my posters.
I don't like boring stuff very much. But, that of course is subjective. I can certainly see that it is well designed, just well designed for somebody other than me to appreciate.
One man's cieling is another man's floor... and all that.
I really, really don't like this poster. It might be the most boring poster I have ever seen. I prefer the horrible photoshop filtered posters over this any day.
Damn randomizer.
It's is indeed a dual purpose poster. The blank space at the bottom is for club info. Yep.
"Almost elegant." I think that should be our new tagline.
Incidently, if you happen to see this CD in the stores, when we sent off the artwork it was intended for a double CD digipak. Somewhere along the way it was changed to a single CD jewel case and therefore the art doesn't work as well. But, you know, whatever.
I don't know if this image really invites you to make yourself at home. It smacks of the furniture your mom would put in the room you're not allowed to go into.
I've made dual purpose posters for bands. they are set up to promote the release and the blank at the bottom is used to write in the tour or club info. Lots of bands can't afford two separate posters so they double up like this. that's my guess. send me one you sissies!
