Raymond, I see what you mean about the "smokey-whatever things". I almost took them off, but then I thought they kind of looked like horns so I left 'em on.
The overlapping texture thing was a happy accident. A result of printing the red on top of the orange before it was dry. I did one as test, thought it looked cool, and hurriedly printed them all before it dried.

I think the smokey-whatever things above the flame's inner white part doesn't help the image. Maybe it even harm it. Otherwise, great.
