dan, for this one, the black plate was drawn with a fine tip sharpie, and then a marks-a-lot marker for some of the bulkier blacks. the second color was, indeed, drybrushed sumi ink on vellum.
about ten years ago i did a lot of my separations with a china marker direct on the vellum positives. lots of great textures, and instant opacity.
In all seriousness, I really like the texture in your drawings and posters. Are you using drybrush pen and ink or something else? Ive been using a lot of lithocrayon/graphite combos with pen and ink. The cool, or maybe bad thing about litho crayon is you can draw on the film....
yes. the band has 60 of them that they will be selling at their merch booth. once those are gone, and the tour has finished, i will have some for sale through the mail.
