i like this. it feels like informational design. or printing proofs. i always liked registration marks and color bars. the lines to the left are all tronlike. hot.
I am not a big fan of the brown and cream.
I didn't notice the dragon heads. It still looks like a flower to me. Anyway, I don't like totally hate this, it's not my style of music so I guess it's not really meant to speak to me. I guess sometimes you have to realize that you are not the target audience of a poster and leave it at that. I am clealry not the target of 90% of the posters on this site.
I never thought of that doodlie as a flower - i guess it does look like a flower. do you see the dragon heads and the kabuki looking mask in the middle? And I also never noticed the shape before the band name looks like the Star of David until I posted it on here. As far as the "flower" not matching I think maybe the rest of the poster doesn't match the "flower"
I totally fucked up all the registration on this entire run though - so they all look like ass. I didn't realize the left side of the screen wasn't tightened all the way until I was cleaning up and I practically pulled all my hair out adjusting my paper before every pull. it sucked
