I just got this from Rob a few weeks ago and it is definitely one of my favorite Jones prints. The quote at the bottom "You never know who is going to be your angel of death" is the icing on the cake. Great work Rob, hopefully you do more Turbonegro or Don Knotts stuff in the future.
This in person blows me away. It's huge. It's next up to be framed. I can't wait to see the looks on folks' faces when they enter my living room & see this.
Scored one of these at the Otto Bar in Baltimore. They are huge and clean as hell! Much detail and when they ran out of colored ones they broke out the black and white stock.
Awesome!
Rocko and Punchgut, thanks for the compliments. My original big idea for this poster was to do the Guns n' Roses cross as a Thor's Hammer and have the corresponding Turbo skulls on it. I then wanted to have a drawing of a sailor getting shower raped by a robot as the underprint (mimicking the original Robert Williams cover to Appetitie that got replaced by the GNR skulls and cross). Anway, it looked and sounded great in my head, but my roughs looked boring. I'm sure Ewing could've made it work.

Image size 18" X 32" 6 color silkscreen with flo inks. Under blacklight it looks cool as the face goes dark, but the blue eyes flare up like pilot lights.
