4 arms. Sounds like bullshit to me. Nobody digs with 2 shovels. You need to use both hands to use a shovel otherwise you won't get enough torque to even break the ground.
Maybe you should have done a little more research on shovels before you get all bold and shit and put a couple of them on a poster.
I've operated a shovel. I know what I'm talking about.

how does nursery garden add "concept" relate at all to a poster for dillinger escape plan. I think what you mean is that the same visual was applied, the "concept", though i havent seen the ads you are refering to really wouldnt apply to garden adds.

This same "concept" was used years ago on nursery/garden ads in industry magazines. Not a new idea by any means.

don't post your stuff if you can't take remoarks on it.
as for type on shovel handles - go back and look at design books and type books and advertising books and etc. and etc. it pops up every so often throughout the decades.
you didn't invent it, honest. it's an old old idea.
hell, go to a hardware store and LOOK AT A SHOVEL HANDLE. you might notice that many of them HAVE TYPE ON THEM!
and don't try and say you've never seen a shovel.

Ok. Im new to this whole GRAPHIC DESIGN thing. Infact I just started at algonquin college. I guess part of this is that I gotta look at every single poster in the world and on this site to make sure I dont make something alike. I dont want anybody to hate me. I guess another thing I need to learn is that if you think you are better than me than you can trash me as bad as you want. Sorry about that everyone. sorry I ruined your day. Mistakes happen and you learn from them. Wish you could comment on other flyers. I guess this was a real eye grabber.

i personally havent seen any type in a shovel other than our Dillinger poster. anyway, to anyone who is thinking of ripping off more of our dillinger escape plan work (since this is the second piece this month), email us first and we'll give you a crit and tell you how to not make it look like a piece of shit.

oh, come on. there's nothing at all sacrosanct or even original about putting type in a shovel handle. that idea has been around for hundreds of years.
get off your "gotcha!" bandwagon.
however, the heads of state design is much better. and it's all based on TYPOGRAPHY (hah!), where as the levitsky one is bad typography and a bad design. otherwise it's the same thing - and old idea.
and just because an idea is old means it has to be bad.
