I just recieved this poster from seldon. It's amazing, signed and numbered edition of 230, color is weird vintage yellow, with some amazing detail hiding in the blank areas of the poster. just stunning
I went to see ISIS in London last night and spoke to Aaron Harris about this poster . It is by Seldon Hunt for those who are wondering . He's done a fair bit of work for ISIS now and also some work for Khanate, SunnO))),House of Low Culture . I have one of his peices from the Earth/kknull European tour that ill post soon . There are some other examples of his work in the news archives @ ideologic.org , that are well worth checking out. Along with Stephen O'Malleys work .
8ball is right , this is a bad scan.
The glare is because the poster is framed and i had trouble getting a decent pic . I will try to get a better one up soon as i get my camera fixed.
Its screenprinted on thick card and is limited to 230 . This is number 161 , it is signed but i am unfamiliar with the signature.
It is a wonderful looking piece and is sized 18.5” by 26”
hope that helps a little :D
RANDUMB: I'm iffy about this one...I want to know more about the method and subject involved with this one....only because i'm FUCKING JEALOUS!!! Also, the pic looks like a bad scan....reason?
ISIS! :bang:
I NEED this poster. I love the type fo isis all broken by the octopus image....
This group of "new released" posters is kicking me right in the ass!!!!!!
Fuck this is weird, theres a guy Ive met here in melbourne who was printing in the same studio I use that was doing a poster very much like this. He gave me one, it was fucking awesome, wasnt this one, but the style is very similar. His print method was sooo sloppy and didnt give a fuck, that it meant all accidents were encouraged. They were awesome posters. Next chance i get to the studio to pick it up, Ill upload a pick of it.
