Paul made me print the glue on these... he said it was too "yucky and sticky" for him, and that he was afraid the elmer's would stain his nails.
yeah, thanks a lot for bringing that back randomizer.
Hey Dusty! and Jason I'll have these and the Here it is Tiger at Flatstock. We'll hook it up. As far as the printing the white is pretty transparent and you can actually see what's going on underneath the red and white. then there's light blue then dark and more white over that for the text. Every one is different and some have really cool writing over them like the red crap up in the right side of this one. That's not part of the screened stuff. This is based more on the Lonesome Crowded West subject matter. nice call Dusty! The bands and the club got the majority of this run too so there's not very many...
dusty - only if they endulge in rubber band battles
hynes - fucik did this'n'...I was just letting you know how it was printed. youll have to get fuciks input on anymore than that...FUCIK!!!!!!!!!????
I get that its all a photo, just trying to figure out what you actually printed over it. Those photos are so textured, detailed and just strange looking, i'm thinkin' its kind of a shame you covered up so much of it. Obviously then each poster is slightly different? Also any problems printing on that coated photo paper?
ok so like hynes was saying, whats screened?
photo underneith, red layer of house, maps, writing, light blue shape layer, dark blue layer at top? white layer on top of that for modest mouse and info?
so these arent screened?
weird thing about this poster, really makes me think of I8/lonesome crowded west era shit. I had the opportunity to hear some of the songs from the forth coming album and isacc doesnt really sing much about the landscape anymore, i kinda miss it.
"kick butt, buzz cut, dickhead dont like what i had said.... the good times are killin me"
They are ariel photos of various areas of Texas made for the Water Commission in the 60's. They were in my flat file when I bought it, and Geoff took pity on me and bought them off my grimy hands.
like glossy photo's? Also i'm trying to figure out whats overprinted and whats the photo. the top area around the house looks like photo, the rest looks like overprinted maps. Its a bit messy but still works well.
