this illustration is really great, the text for quasi is nice. i agree that the imagery and text treatment doesn't seem to represent quasi. to me the illustration feels like it could have been layed out in a more dynamic way as to include the other type. i think the other text is distracting and would have been better if incorporated into the illustration somehow. also, the info for who illustrated and printed it seems a bit large.

I never got to say WHOA! when this poster flashed by, but it's fucking fantastic. Bwana Spoons is one of the strangest savants I've ever tangled with... And whaddaya mean, flaming skulls and quasi don't go together? Any disaster on an epic scale, any metaphor for total betrayal and loneliness unto death is a quasi thing... I can't even tell what's going on here--whale rib cataract death comet tunnel of love?--but it's quasi to the heart. and check out how amazing the linework is, and the color use, like the blue/black/white/red water. a tight, rich 3 color poster... even the lettering on the left works coz the registration is off, so you can feel the grit. Ka-lassik.
