Sounds like that perennial favorite of gigposters, the illustrators versus designers argument (otherwise known as cartoons vs. clip art), is about to rear its head.

standardSend standard a message :   Am I missing something? Cos this looks like a photocopy or a manipulated photo to me.
I mean, if it *is* a drawing, that's cool too.

Phil-PadweSend Phil-Padwe a message :   Nice poster... I really dig the clean, vector look. I also like the calm, simple colors you chose for the ky gradient. Very nice.
My only comment is that you probably didn't need the frayed white edge around the black illustration. It looks a little (especially "inside" the ferris wheel) like laziness with a photoshop selection.
This caught my attention...

pezzonovanteSend pezzonovante a message :   That second band should be The Long Winters.
That's a great illustration, especially if it is handdrawn. There's something fundamentally horrible about a leaning ferris wheel--surprise of death, dead kids, evidence of the pleasures of life before the Bomb, something like that--and it seems to me I've seen it appear a few times in film or paintings...
