I printed this on a vandercook proofing press that I picked up a couple of years back. I find random type, etc. at antique stores. I also do orignal cuts, but this poster is all "found" letterpress pieces.
"Very El Lissitzky / Alexander Rodchenko-esq."
No, not at all. This is more Futurist, F.T. Marinetti or Dada, Il'ia Mikhailovich Zdanevich.
The contents of a Hellbox that's for sure.
What equipment was this printed on?
"this looks like something somebody threw together in a letterpress shop with whatever was laying around. it's the equivalent of a collage pasted together with what you can clip out of a newspaper. "
Is that a bad thing?
