Thanks everyone. It's funny, I DO sleep. I started this last night and finished the text, but was so tired and sweaty in my studio I slept on the floor, cause I didn't want to get too comfortable and sleep all night.
So I woke up at 1am, slammed some coffee, and finished it off for delivery today.
This looks different cause I did it all with a ball point pen. All my brushes are shitty right now.
This was also extra special cause the dude who goes around town and puts all of these flyers up for the Triple Rock is in The Cardinal Sin, he wanted something cool. And Motion City Soundtrack is pretty damn good too.

dwitt--seriously. this is gorgeous. youve really turned your linework into a powerful thing. the way the flamy motion lines intersect with the lines for the lettering is just KILLER. and the denser black against clean white...such a great composition. the little arrows...the muscley guy who looks more like a 50s scifi pulp illo than a comic book creation...you really took the black and white to TOWN.
