Steve HSend Steve H a message :   cool poster, my two p on the kerning..drop the date and venue a tad more to the left so its more, but not wholly flush with the blue beneath it and push them together a touch..   2004-04-26 14:18:21
henri-pierreSend henri-pierre a message :   style colours, idea, they're all great. really really nice poster.   2003-11-03 15:42:20
dspringSend dspring a message :   I still think this kicks ass, I love the colours and the style... :bang:   2003-09-07 21:15:13
largemammalSend largemammal a message :   hmm. always another way to skin the cat. The finished product looks a bit different color wise. I laid the orange over the blue, real transparent. That made the eyes look darker, added a different spin which I like. And the blue leans more toward greenish. It's that thin line where you may think, is this the ocean, or the sky? Or, you may think, this guy's a nutjob. beh.   2003-04-22 20:12:29
jasoncrossSend jasoncross a message :   Maybe if the kerning had gotten spaced gradually further apart starting with Mercury and copntinuing on through to Program?
Anywho, keep up all the great work! I really enjoy seeing the Largemammal work...that's why I cared enough to comment :)

largemammalSend largemammal a message :   point taken, plastk. I am a bit of a stickler for type too. I usually keep the kerning pretty tight, but I thought a more open spacing would let the movement come down through the text and not create too much horizontal tension there. Plus, when I laid out the text with tighter kerning, it had to be a larger point size to fill the space side to side and that made it too heavy. Thank you for your comments! constructive crit is why I put my stuff up here. ...   2003-04-21 16:46:49

Raymond BiesingerSend Raymond Biesinger a message :   Super wicked--spartan, and the complimentary colours work well. I just wish I could make out what was on the hands.   2003-04-20 18:48:45
jasoncrossSend jasoncross a message :   I like the overall concept and design but I think the kearning on the type is a bit too loose and inconsistant compared to the rest of the design.
there always room for improvement and I am anal about type.

dspringSend dspring a message :   supercool, the colours and the style totally work witht the name of the band, that kinda 60's pre psychedelia. Really, really nice.   2003-04-20 08:18:54
