Casey BurnsSend Casey Burns a message :   this was the most beautiful poster i saw at flatstock all weekend. must be seen to be believed. i can't believe i didn't buy one. the overprinting with the matallic ink is perfectly handled. me jealous.   2003-09-04 10:15:06
Brendan JordanSend Brendan Jordan a message :   Oh lil_tuffy, when is your agent going to decide it's time you just be called "Tuffy?" You know, like "Bow-wow."
Nice randomized poster BTW

lil_tuffySend lil_tuffy a message :   Is slaughterhouse a house industries font?
Believe it or not, the one on the poster is not a house font.

maynardSend maynard a message :   Dig the illo. The text... well, actually it's the small text that doesn't work for me. Slaughterhouse seems to work for some strange reason...   2003-04-16 03:57:05
lil_tuffySend lil_tuffy a message :   Pardon my poor spelling and ramblin' grammar. I didn't get no sleep last night.

lil_tuffySend lil_tuffy a message :   Hmmm. I thought about using a nice clean font but it looked way to clean. Using some sort of 'pan-asian' inspired font would be too much and I kinda liked the raw feel of this text. As a result, I ended up tearing the frame off the frame on the film and going with a ragged color field as well.
I haven't quite figured out how to photograph metallic inks yet. The grey and blue are all overprinted with gun-metal.

porkypigstyleSend porkypigstyle a message :   for some reason that type is bothering me. I don't know if it is supposed to purposefully contrast the clean lines of japanese design and illustration, but if it is, it seems like it's too much of a contrast.
I really love the colors though.
