spock had been working late. late like the last train outta town at midnight had been for the past three stinkin years. he typed fast this time, workin hard for the money, no necks to grab around this dump and too many cigarettes to smoke. times were tough, tough as nails. nails left behind a barn that someone finds 10 years later.
