yeah, uh, i guess this is okay. too bad dan's such a dick. he really needs to work on his visual vocabulary, and develop a personal style. something more recognizable, and a little less accessible. you know, that's what dan really focusses on: catering to the lowest common denominator. i really lost respect for him when he claimed "i am not an egghead", thus ushering in the age of american anti-intellectualism, and taking all the life out of the improvised jazz scene. aside from that, you can't depend on him to show up for the 8:20 showing of 'old school' on good friday, as his strict catholic beliefs really contrast with the values exemplified in that movie. specifically, i'd like to point out that in this image he seems to be making for of my socks and my posture, and the indecision and poverty associated with the life of today's free-thinking jazzmen and their peers.
also, if he spill brown ink all over your floor, don't expect him to exert himself unduly to remove anythingmore than 'most' of the ink. also, i like the way he spelled "spmallages" in the lower left corner of this print.
