That's more than just a stretch.
I'd want to be pretty goddamn sure I had a case that would hold up under scrutiny before making a public accusation. Otherwise I'd run the risk of appearing to be a really really reallybigdouche.
The only legit similarity I can see is that you both used floating foxes. 2 artists working at the same time could easily come up with similar interpretations based on the literal song title,"The Fox & The Log Flume Dream". So suggesting plagiarism is a bit of a stretch here.
I hope this clears up any concerns you may have that I may have any any way been inspired by or plagiarized your designs.
I can say with 100% honestly that This started with a sketch SOLELY based on reading the track titles of the upcoming album. "The Fox & The Log Flume Dream" painted a vivid picture in my head of a nesting fox curled up as if sleeping but floating like he's dreaming. I'm seeing your image for the first time today. After someone told me I was being called out on GigPosters.com
And as for the font, since this entire album is about a circus train wreck, while researching circus trains I came across the designer for the Barnum and Bailey's Circus logo. He took the type he did for that logo and made a font out of it. I purchased this font and created the layout based on the arch and rise of Circus-Style type. that's interesting... by any chance did you see this poster which was done months ago that the band commissioned for a tour print?
Also like how the type treatment is almost identical to another mewithoutYou poster I made...
