I am going to photocopy my monitor so I can hang these comments beside this poster. Did I mention that I had this poster?
that Bridge in Barcelona ?
Paul: parallel counterweight lift bridges, two tracks. The big bulky things on the ends are the weights. One track lifts one way and vice versa. Thanks everyone, and especially Goodtimes.
holy. shit. best yet. bravo
I wanna know (after staring at the poster) how those bridges work. And are both connected to the same train line? Good piece, makes you think.
I scanned all my letrasets and then sold them on ebay
Richie Goodtimes: Futura Reaver.
that's just incredible. the letraset story makes it even better, if possible.
Notice how quiet Flattum is about all this? Richie scared him so bad he's probably hiding under his bed guarding his Letraset collection with a frying pan shoved down the back of his pants.
this is really cool. it's soothing and subtly dramatic at the same time.
awesome poster dan, saw codeine yesterday, awesome too. missed them 21 years ago
I was talking about Luke. Luke is a joke.
Rape is no joke.
jokes aside, this is a stellar print.
It had better all be Futura and Helvetica. Richie's a snob.
I have stacks of Letraset. It's right here, by my bottom
I have no interest in Cooper Black.
Maybe on some subconscious level, that's what I've always wanted? I've got a pristine sheet of Cooper Black too. I'm going to use it spell you out a shekshy note.
I'm just saying, be careful letting people know about your treasure trove of Letraset. Some people might try and take it from you and in the act of acquiring it, FORCIBLY SODOMIZE you. It's happened before.
Trapping? no you screwed that up too. But yes this poster involves lots of trapping so in that way you are right.
I spelled the word I intended to use correctly.
Rapping has two p's, Goodtimes.
There might have been some raping involved as well...but too late now, you used it.
If I had known you had that I would have killed and robbed you.
True story: I guarded the precious remnants of this ragged Futura Medium Letraset sheet for 16 years, in the remote hope that I might one day get to use it on a Codeine poster.
This is badass, Dan!
Nadine Y. Nakanishi
Futura lowercase has never looked so good. Oh dang, I just love this band and that you made this! Perfect match. Also real subtle unique way to use symmetry as a visual rhythm section.
