Ha Scrojo, I would love doing an Emerson, Lake and Palmer poster. I used to really be into them.
I'm trying to get our band to do Karn Evil #9, but our keyboardist just laughs at me when I bring it up
Rich, e-mail me in a few weeks, I may have some printed as promotional pieces and could probably send you one .
Thanks again everyone!!!
DAMN!!!...this was gink! i've been admirering this poster for the last day and had no clue it was yours. sweet way to switch things up. amazing. great work mate.
besides....i love emerson,lake and palmer
Hey Thanks everyone!!!
This was another departure for me, and somewhat of a challenge since I'm not really all that into Hip-Hop. I just knew I wanted this to have a real 'urban' NY feel to it.
I used a china marker for the line art and a scan of cardboard for the background. the rest is digitally "painted" in Photoshop.
Damn, this is beautiful. I never got a good look any of them when it aired on the first promo. It'll be interesting to see how all of them are animated.
Chloe,
My daughter Juniper and I colored all morning together. It truly is amazing to see a 5 year old's take on their surroundings. It's weird. As a parent you try to preserve that... whatever, innocence - that fresh, unfiltered vision of the world as long as possible.
This is one of the MTV2 promotions for SXSW.... not actually printed, but used on the air for the next year. They should have the animations up on the air soon.... I saw all of them the other day; they're really cool!
I'll upload the others to gigposters......
kids are always fresh.
i thought i hated kids untill recently but i realized i just hate most kids i'm exposed too cause thier parents are either welfare trash or total suv driving yuppie scum
kids with cool parents are neat.
i'd rent a kid for an hour or too and color with em. maybe eat some candy. fuck shit up
after that though they gotta go away cause aunt chloe has a headache
