thanks! except it's NOT boy george. it's wilum pugmire, esq. - a horror fiction author (classic lovecraftian mode, his 'sesqua valley' stories are choice). he's also a full time horror drag queen (24-7 since the '60's. boy, has HE had a life!). he also used to put out a zine called 'punk lust'. in fact, in a letter to his zine, a young mark maclaughlin (nee "mark arm") wrote a letter wanking on about this "GRUNGE" music, thus coining the term. anyway, he's also a big boy george "fan". the best part is that in every city, there is a small cult of boy george wannabe lookalikes. in seattle, the bull goose boy george drag queen was a fella name of "boy mike". now, boy mike always hated wilum because wilum made fun of him and was frankly a better boy george in appearance. so, when i was offerd this project i immediately thought it would be funny to put wilum on the poster. he dug out this foto and he loved the idea because it would REALLY piss off boy mike. it worked wonders. wilum even stategically mass-postered just so boy mike would be bombarded with them. boy mike went nova. he ended up working overtime stalking boy george just so he could get his picture with the guy. we all giggled a lot. i won't talk about the death threats wilum got. end of story.
