dv8rSend dv8r a message :   Inn of The Beginning, I believe it's extinct now...but back in the early seventies Van Morrison tried out his new material there. Cotati is a sleepy small semi rural ex-hippie town between Petaluma & Rohnert Park CA whose town center is a park crossed with roads shaped like a peace sign from overhead...Another venue that is gone from that town is Cotati Caberet, a big barnlike ancehall, where I saw Social D in 91...Op Ivy, Los Lobos, NRBQ, Neil Young, Y&T, Jerry Garcia all gigged there in the 80's heyday of that extinct Cotati venue.   2006-01-05 21:01:26
