moxiegustoSend moxiegusto a message :   Josh Staples is a really nice and very talented guy. I met him years ago in the middle of the night at the then 24 hour Kinko's in our town. I was doing Pulsators posters and he was drawing in the parking lot. His band at the time was The Morticians, I believe. He later went on to own and run Flying Herold Record Company with his then GF, now wife, Sara Sanger. He plays bass with The Velvet Teen who are quite well known in this area and have been touring national and maybe even internationally. Formerly he was a force in The Conspiracy one of the better know ska bands in No-Cal. His posters are always excellent. He and Sara have a side project band too. I'm going to get in touch with him and see about getting some of his other work up here. You will all love it.   2004-02-19 21:52:55

Steve HSend Steve H a message :   spontaneous drawing, the finished result makes the process seem nigh on impossible but its actually easier than you'd think, at a guess, the artist wouldn't have planned out beforehand what it was going to look like, the detail in the wave would have been drawn directly onto the paper without even the artist knowing how its gonna look.   2003-07-10 19:11:50
