If you didn't watch Dave Chappelle's Show tonight, I'm not going to explain it to you.
If you did and you're still making that joke, we might have issues.

No, I actually think there is shame in it, but if it will help a poster, then I'd consider it.
My recent stuff is better, but there is less of it because I'm completely unmotivated lately. Some sort of rut I've gotta get out of.
Pretty much that's what I did with this one.
It was a completely different looking bus though. The photo was of some modified beach bus with monster wheels and a huge fishing cooler in front, so I basically just used it for the general shape and as a reference for how the light would have played off of it. I liked the perspective the photo was taken from, and I couldn't find a good picture of the band's actual bus (since it was no longer in their possession).
This was a pretty early poster, so I don't care.
Actually, if layering over an image will work better for a future poster I'd still consider it, I just wouldn't make it look so cold.
Brendan I could imagine this could be offensive if so forgive me. Did you work layers on top of a photo for this? Either way the illo came out nicely. I guess you could take my question as a compliment in some way.
Richie, I asked them about this, they said they'd never hire a gay guy to do there posters . . . I argued that you're not gay, but they wouldn't believe it. I think they've decided to go with Jeph.
Just found out that I lost 50% of my client roster . . . Bloo will be taking an "11 month hiatus" so there guitarist can sail a boat in the seven seas. Seriously.
Overall, I like this a lot, Brendan. The only thing that really sticks out is the date type. It's not integrated with the rest of the poster. Otherwise, this is really cool.
Philaarts, I'm gonna guess you're joking.
Standard, I'm sorry you don't like it, and granted it's nothing special, but the band wants to use it for other stuff.
By the way Kurt: Posting the first comment is something I learned from Walt Whitman. To get attention for his first book of poems, he took on a psuedonym and wrote glowing reviews of his own work.
Brendan, you are the first one to comment on every single one of your posters. I don't much like the background color, but overall..it looks nice. It's nice to look at your posters and see you get better with each one. keep it up man.
I posted this as soon as it was done, and then I realised I screwed up the date on it. I have to reprint, but it's just Fiery so that's not too bad
