back in the old days (pre-1980), there was a lot of this 'angular' rasty style. it was considered 'punk as fuck' back then. but eventually the mainstream picked it up (cuz any fool could do it), added lotsa colors and then called it 'new wave graphics'. it became the cheeziest of the cheezy styles of the 80's (the one we all dismiss as utter crap). but it started out as pure punk rock. funny how it works out, huh?
