Alot of my influences do include Viennese Secession artists, but I think I feel closer in attitude to the paintings of the Renaissance and Mannerist period. As long ago as that was I just still feel my heart swelling when I look at those types of paintings. Bronzino is one of my absolute favorites. I got to see the Allegory of Venus in person. I couldn't move away from it for like 2 hours. Beautiful. Oh, and this show happened already.
