i don't think my constant enjoyment are doing anything constrictive......except maybe giving you confidence to experiment more. i still see seri style in this poster.
p.s. i likes me the chunky fonts too.
hmmm
1) i think it looks like alot of our older posters it is diffrent from most of the stuff we do lately cause the music is really diffrent.
usually we do posters for indie rock, art rock and hard core bands. this is for a garage rock show. and we are on a niklaus troxler kick.
very hard to not show that influence.
maybe abit of chantry worship showing as well cause art's the king of garage.
2) greek-looking fonts are where it's at.
so chunky.

1- this is so hot, but it doesnt look like a seripop poster... expanding your horizons i see
2- im using that font in some lame as kids dinosaur book.
yep - useless bit of trivia - in one of my college classes we had to come up with a name/logo/identity, etc for a coffeshop bookstore. I can up with Dante's Cafe'....flaming feet coming out of a cup of coffee was my logo. :bang:
pretty sure that in Dante's Inferno there's a circle of hell where the sinners are punished by being buried upside down to the waist and set on fire.
can't remember exactly what sin they commited to deserve that though.
This is awesome, guys! The only thing I'm not sure about are the band names on the top. I dunno, maybe a thinner font would have worked better. But those legs and burning feet are KILLAH!
