Kevin, I started the design with it just as it is here because i thought it looked cool but then I wanted to make it more conceptual to apply to the band. lyrical or otherwise. I struggled with a ton of different variations but it all felt forced. then as I was about to pull the trigger on the better of the worse 'concepts' i heard a line in one of their songs (Dirty Cartoons) that says "consider the meaning, and shrug it right off". So i went with that sentiment and ran them as is. they were stoked on them and sold out at the show. it was a good experiment in getting out of my comfort zone. thanks for asking.
