The evening of this show, across Snelling at the Turf Club is the"Petty in Pink" show. A bunch of bands covering Tom Petty and Pink Floyd, and possibly even some Pink, the singer lady. St. Paul rocks.

well…i like birds because they remind me of bird like things… like flying'… you know…like whenever i'm feeling a little grounded i twitch a bit at a bird call, or a car horn and see all those little buddies…well… just a flying. sometimes they fly in a pattern…or what looks like a pattern…all synchronized over the Wendys sign and i think to myself…how come those birds just dont bump into each other or like even why doesn't the big bird who is in front, but not that much bigger, or even sometimes the same size as the other birds just bump into the fast food sign. then… i start thinking about fast food signs and in particular the KFC sign. see… it seems that it doesn't really ever say the word chicken in the KFC sign or menu. not that i think all birds are chickens or that anyone might be a chicken i just start wondering about birds and fast food and that sort of thing. anyhow if i were a bird i'd like to be a platypus, but then again…i'd have a hard time convincing the rest of the birds that i really was a bird after all and i'm not to sure how any of them feel about the whole chicken and fast food sign thing in the first place.

birds. all the 'intellectual' guys use birds. whats up with that? birds and cool pastels. lots of negative space. It's getting old..and don't go substituting cowboy clip art for them birds either. use something new. insects ot perhaps sea creatures.I'm sick of birds, cowboys and sailboats.
