I love octopuses, what the hell is it about an octopus? I'd see this show based on the poster - even if I didn't like Shellac alresy. Love the lettering, the borders... yeah.

WHen I was about 23 or so I got really wasted one night...took ecstasy on top of a lot of alcohol...I ended up calling an old HIGH SCHOOL GIRLFRIEND at about 2 AM!!!!!!!
I don't remember the conversation, but my buddies all tell me it was a hoot! (telling her that i have never forgotten her...my first true love etc. etc)
I tried to call her back a few days later to apologize but she was "never home"...i gave up.
She now lives around the corner from me with her husband and daughter....
to this day I am a little embarassed every time i see her....

hey thanks a bunch! i thought about redrawing this but then thought that it was done so well already i should just use it as is. i got it from this german clip art book called "schnippelbuch". never seen that other poster before....weird coincidence. he's got good taste though!
i thought the image itself is great, but then i was thinking...shellac is sticky...so are octopuses suction cups...or octopi....
and shellac rocks, especially live.
