i'm talking more the real classic rock/metal ironic listening - sabbath, ac/dc, thin lizzy, motorhead, led zeppelin, rolling stones, slayer, etc...that music means so much to me that i hate it when people take it ironically...in fact, it blows my mind that anyone would.
i'm less about 80's metal, but there are a ton of bands from that era that deserve more than to have an indie kid wear a shirt of them as a joke. in my opinion. i think chloe is more about the 80's metal than me, so she'll probably let you have it.

honestly, "the rocker" is pretty much my favourite song nowadays. phil lynott was incredible. there's definately some thin lizzy albums i stay away from, but the good ones are INCREDIBLY good!!
and yeah, some people do like to get their nuts crushed.

it's better with the bolt. it compliments the typography placement in the upper right-hand corner.

yannick here. the bolt was actually added after the whole thing was done, in order to re-direct the viewers eyes abit, create an oppositional diagonal to the black and white form's. It happens sometimes that we think our stuff twice. And it does make sense.
also, it somewhat needed a pun, just to distract from the emo quality of the b&w drawing, wich was turning me off a bit.

dan- this was mostly done with brushes and speedball pens we like to slop the ink! dave- yannick and i both do tasks on each poster we do for instance on this i did the original illo of the spiral cloud in pen and ink and then yannick added more spirals, thicker lines in and filled alot of the white spaces and added the lightning bolts pretty much everything we do we pass it back and forth untill we get something that is sufficently nuts.
