random AA. needs a pick, upper right.
I'm in Toronto, staying with friends; I was trying to explain the whole poster thing to them, when Steve says "I have an Aesthetic Apparatus poster upstairs in the office." Crazy.
Mucho Boss. Is it a tree (with roots)? Is it an afroed-male? Who knows...but its a concept! A real live concept!
El Negro Magnifico!
Very nice, guys!
I think it is funny.
well what do u know?
The fro' is from an actual photo.
I guess the guy has a small fro'!
Maybe in a couple months it'll be bigger.
ya lost me on this his afro is way too small mini fro.
I just pooped too.
Nothing really happened.
I lite a match.
Funny, I just shit myself and the same thing happened.
I blew my wad just a minute ago, up on the roof. took out a Newscopter and a bunch of Pelicans.
and heeeere we go
Eh, you can't win em all.
Where is your work Johnny?
uh i dont think anyone "blew their wad" over this poster. calm down friend.
this is so damn funny....nice job, great mock.
No way, this is taken from an actual shot of his head so it's proportional. Maybe the drummer was just having a bad fro day.
Yeah, the tree reference isn't a bad one to get either.
Couldn't this also be a tree on a hill (sure the trunk would be kinda out of proportion)...that was one of the ways I read it
that is a super obscure rip..... but guys the 'fro is tooo small.
We'll put bolts in his neck for our mandatory Electric Frankenstein poster. Then we'll have ripped-off our rip-off. Now that's art!
Ha! That's funny. You should have put bolts in his neck, too.
I wouldn't stand that close to "Bijan", he scares me.
This is different from what we usually do because it's a parody. It's a rip-off of Michael Jordan colonge. http://prismaweb.com/mjcologne/
Oh shit Dan, I told you I was gonna send you a piece of clip art to help spark some ideas for this poster... but I'm glad I didn't, I like this!
this seems quite different from what you guys normally do, but I really like it - the graphic could be read two ways (which I'm sure was part of your design approach)
