Sure, DJ posters are welcome here, there are quite a few in fact. I'll say I really like the Springsteen illo, nicely executed. But this is not for a Bruce Springsteen concert, as you have labelled. Nor does it advertise the DJ or any other musical acts that might have performed that night at this event... I'm not trying to be a dick, but to me, it doesn't fit the site guidelines for a gigposter.
And were we critiquing this poster...or the validity of the event qualifying in B-Droid's views???
Ahhh you''ve sucked me in! I'm done now. FOR REAL!!!
whoops- one more note:
no need to answer aloud...but I guess DJ posters on here aren't gigs either then, since they just spin the tunes like at this event as well!!!
Ahhh- FINALLY you change the lingo!!! "Concert" I am first to admit, there was NONE with Bruce Springsteen himself, nor was this event even a concert itself.
BUT- there was music a plenty, a one-time opening, and much more at the "gig" this poster represents! I've already wasted so much pointless typing on this though, so I again bow to your superior intellect in FINALLY reaching your point: not a concert!!!
Feel free to continue to critique my submissions, with your 3-word comments, but alas I shall return to this page no more! You are victorious!
heh, well to skip the back-and-forths since you're obviously right and stated it twice. I'll leave you be with your infinite wisdom!!!
A specific date (ONLY APRIL 1 and NEVER AGAIN), for a music-themed event, with music being played in the round at a venue- which by the way the Rock Hall has oh, about a couple dozen live shows a yr!
That's a 'gig' my not-so-friend. Sorry!
Way to be objective though..I feel so greeted with open arms!!! Ah the art community- I've missed you so much!
