davey,second guy in from the right saw keith's satanism at a way forward for the band, he began looking for ways to experiment more with the "darker" side of blue meridian. he became aquainted with classical music thru a mutual friend he met at an opium bar while travelling in morocco with his bohemian friends and became hooked on dvorak and bartok. he saw blue meridian as being too one dimensional and felt needed something to push themselves forward as a top rock outfit for the new millenium. combining the trad jazz of ernie miles and the slow slurring drones of graeme tylers sound exploitive, he melded a new sound for the new millenium and a new meridian etc etc

Things started to go bad, right around this point. Drugs, women....satanism. Keith, the bass player (extreme right) got into Satanism...hanging out at LaVey's...Rumour is that when Terry's girlfriend died in the car wreck, he blamed it on Keiths satanism...Very weird.
