aww chloe, these are cool because the dead guy is foreign in each one.
"I am of mother of texas and father from irak me father fuck your asses...cmon cowboys!"
I left this poster in my car overnight, and the next day it totally stank up the joint with inky goodness. Much nicer than the previous smells left by old Sonic bags. My wife won't let me hang it in the bedroom though.
ok-unless you have seen thi in person, you have no idea how cool it really is-
a)it's huge
b) the inks are really smelly
c) theoverprinting.
jared ponted that out to me, but i really had to go to the bathroom at the time, so i was concentrating on not pissing myself at the time-bu
When I was in Guatemala it was wierd to watch the news because unlike American news it was VERY GRAPHIC...they would show a car wreck or something and focus in on the bodies...I was quite shocked...seriously grotesque - that shit would not fly here...average american does not want to see that...good thing there are posters like this to remind them anyway...you cannot hide!
it is interesting how ingrained the violence..in high school we bought our beer at el supermercado, and they had all those mags right up at the counter...
This is very effective and totally works with the bands. The poster is definitely in the same spirit of their album covers. Only more brutal. A friend of mine is really into the whole Mexican "death culture". He showed me a book and several magazines about it. Even showed me a copy of Injusticio. Very odd how gore and violence is "accepted" as part of their culture. And it's all real gore. No horror movie, makeup/ special effect gore.
I'm bringing Unsane here in a couple of weeks. This is pretty much what I had in mind for the poster for my show. Although maybe not quite this disturbing.
aw man....you WOULD screen print it, you sick sick man. speaking od sick-i just walked by sound exchange and watched a few people cringe when they got close enough to see it.
