this was designed by helene silverman, who was art director at the rocket just before i came on for the first time. she moved to new york in about 84. she was the startup art director who designed the whole look of metropolis magazine. she eventually married gary panter (whom she met at the rocket) and they named their kid 'olive sienna' - after two of the colors that crayola removed from their box. they still live in ny and work on cool crap.
