Dammit. There used to be a Dinkytown bar called Dubs, and Dubs used to have the best burger basket / pint happy hour in town. And they had South Park pinball. And one time we had a Ms. Pac-Man championship between Tom and Meyers, because they were both known to be masters of Ms. Pac-Man, and Tom got killed in the first round and we laughed him and then he revealed that he had learned to play Ms. Pac-Man at the downtown bus station, whose Ms. Pac-Man game was broken, resulting in Tom only being able to play Ms. Pac-Man when Ms. Pac-Man can only turn left. Then we all got drunk and sang karoake. And then Dubs closed and now it's The Blarney and all they have is Big Buck Hunter, which I'm pretty sure they give out free when you buy a liquor license. Sic transit gloria! |
