swizzleSend swizzle a message :   I am head over heels in love with this poster, it is just beautiful and as ant said you rarely see landscape concert posters. Does anyone know if it is still available anywhere? I cannot track it down.   2011-01-23 12:24:41
emo_forceSend emo_force a message :   Good eye Danny. I sort of like the Moire effect because no matter how tightly registered the poster is during printing, each one looks slightly different. I know how to avoid the moire effect, but I choose to let it be sometimes.   2009-03-11 20:24:00
danieldangerSend danieldanger a message :   see, i think thats what i like about your prints, i like the sort of old school comic/pulpnovel feel that comes from the halftones. even the moire to an extent. halftones dont work for me or crosshair, but for you i think theyre exactly what you want.   2009-03-11 18:45:32
emo_forceSend emo_force a message :   You guys rule. Thanks for all the nice comments. Here's a large, detail view for any interested.

Iron Canvas StudiosSend Iron Canvas Studios a message :   the colors on this are really nice. There's a venue I do posters for that told me right away: ' no landscape posters' as I guess they're a pain in the ass to put on telephone poles... makes sense I guess.   2009-03-09 21:12:33
antSend ant a message :   The whole piece could have done without the lighted borders, but I still like it. Not enough landscape posters, and for that alone, I commend you.   2009-03-09 21:09:01
crosshairSend crosshair a message :   that's a no-can-do, steve.   2009-03-09 14:20:51
steve wSend steve w a message :   put the magnifying glass away, dan   2009-03-09 14:20:11
crosshairSend crosshair a message :   entirely possible. I only notice it, in the sky, because the detail on the right is so nice and crisp. I'm such a dick.   2009-03-09 14:12:36
Josh RickunSend Josh Rickun a message :   could also just show up like that on the pic at this size. why are you such a jerk, dan?!?!?!   2009-03-09 14:09:58
crosshairSend crosshair a message :   Great as usual.
One thing, and its a total nitpick... the moire from your halftone is distracting. Have you experimented with other ways of printing tones?
