Well, I understand the "commemorative" aspect of posters, but personally I feel stupid if none of the posters I make ever get out to promote the show. (by my or the venue's fault) And every time I have this conversation I want to revert to making b/w flyers so I can plaster the town and not be precious with 'em. Actually, did you read the Chronicle article yet? I'm willing to be the one who gets popped by the cops for wheat-pasting if Jagmo defends me in court. Mehbe we can do something about the posting laws in Austin and postpone the city's decline into yuppie sterility.
Its a good poster, man.
I almost got a shot at doing this poster for this very gig. I didn't have time to take it unfortunetly. My sons like New Found Glory and would have been stoked for me to do it.
Jareds is better than mine would have been. Mine would have probably had a robot or a skull or something played out like that.
thanks brutefish, pedini.
to answer your question, it sold out after i was asked to do it,before we printed. thought it might be a nice commemorative type of thing since some were sold at the show (by emo's).
meh so horny.
