i've said this before in other threads but...... here goes again. altho of no benefit to the show itself it is a HUGE benefit for the venue to promote the fact that a show sells out. it creates a good buzz for the club and promotes early ticket sales for future gigs.

I'm not doubting that it's a nice poster. This is just merch then, assuming it's sold at the gig, and not an advertisement for the show. Why put this up anywhere if the show is SOLD OUT? It's pointless and doesn't fit the requirements of the site, really. What? It advertises a show no one can go to? That's not advertising, that's taunting.
