heh. the number one reason i don't do much drawing on my posters is because i'm messy and scratchy as hell. and it all comes out looking like a Hess-Clone. "Ah Feel Yer Pain."

haha. ugh. while i really appreciate hess's work, i don't try to emulate what he does one bit. while i do a lot of dramatic figurework (which is the bieggest similarity, really), i think there's a very different approach in the typography, color selection, inking styles... oh look! i'm trailing off... .. .

Nice nice illustration. Possibly Hess influenced but definately not just a rip-off or parasitic thing. Seems quite different and respectful. Nice color, too.

I think Justin has mentioned a Hess influence, but he's definitely got his own thing goin' on. This has some drama.
