Modest Mouse Poster - Metro, Chicago - Wilson
got this as a token of "wow that really sucks that you have to work tonight" i was working at a mid-west pizzeria for a combination of huber law workers and crime invested italians. but then again, that must be every pizzeria in the country. the people who were there doing the work release programs for the county jail might have loved this show themselves. sometimes they did smoke crack in the kitchen. damaged in a flooded garage.
Godspeed You Black Emperor Poster - Tour Poster - Dan Grzeca
I moved into a new apartment and studio in Milwaukee WI. Room/studio mates and I were looking for who's room would be whose. I stepped into the midsize room, framed perfectly in the window was a beautiful rosette of some polish milwaukee steeple. in the closet was this poster. I claimed the room. it was great to watch the fireworks reflections glow and explode over the face of that rosette on that 4th of July. 830 e clark st, riverwest. also, upon my moving out, had a small party in which we blew up 250+ white balloons and put them all into that room with 12 other people. no liquor, but we did have the best of roland alfonzo. you couldn't see who was next to you. the smuggest guy in the room was laughing full belly like a little kid. this poster has good stuff attached to it.
Fugazi Poster - The Rave, Milwaukee - Jay Ryan
got this at atomic records blow out sale bash...funny thing was, i knew who had it before them and before them. truly, i stumbled upon it. sold this ages ago.
Unwound Poster - The Terrace - Aesthetic Apparatus
i got this at the madison show for two dollars. kept it in my art studio for years, and somebody finaly dropped a little bit of white acrylic paint on the silver, wiped it, schmearing in the opaque whiteness, and never told me. reguardless, this show was one supreme show. someone tell me what sarah lund is doing now?
